Gleason Eakin
Gleason J. Eakin is a former educator with experience as a teacher, counselor and football coach at the high school level and Dean of Students at Mt. Hood Community College from which he retired. Along the way he also became a businessman and entrepreneur through his businesses TravelConnection, Camp Cascade and Cascade Sports Camp. Since 1997 Gleason has been actively involved in the autism community at three levels – state/regional, national and international. He co-founded Northwest Autism Foundation (NWAF) which provides educational programs for families of children with autism (state/regional level), is a co-founder of Autism Treatment Network (ATN) whose goal is to provide medical treatment/research for autistic patients (national level), and is a co-founder for Autism Coalition for Treatment (ACT) that internationally supports treatments for autistic children.
